Working background:
I worked part time for the English Institute of Sport for many years across a wide variety of sports and was the British Triathlon Team Physio up to and at the Rio Olympic Games in 2016.
Whilst working in elite sport, I set up Fit4-Physio and continue to apply my expertise gained from working with World Champions and Olympic medallists in elite sport in helping everyone from weekend warriors to the World’s best to be Fit4 their sports and activities.
I am also a passionate Retul certified bike fitter and head up our sister brand Fit4-Velo helping to optimise the riding experience and performance of cyclists and triathletes.
Areas of interest:
Having assisted lots of elite athletes through complex rehabilitation programmes, I enjoy helping people go through their unique rehab journey and seeing the complexities each individual brings to this process. I am a passionate cyclist and love bike fitting at our Fit4-Velo bike fitting studio in Kelham Island.
When not at the clinic….
You’re likely to find me out on a bike somewhere – mountain-bike or road bike. Or running round after a small child!

Most outstanding achievement / interesting fact:
After playing professional football (Nottingham Forest), I gained 33 international Futsal (5-a-side) caps for England and am still the only England Futsal player to have scored a goal against Argentina (we lost 10-1)!
What would you cook if I came round for dinner?
Anything from Rukmini Iyer’s Green Roasting Tin book. Current favourite is her middle eastern bulgar wheat and kale recipe with pomegranate seeds!
What country is on your bucket list to visit?
I’d love to explore South America (on a mountain bike) for the scenery and culture

Fave season and why?
Can’t beat early Autumn in the alps when the sun is still warm, the trails running amazingly and the colours are spectacular

Working Background:
I have been a physio for almost 20 years including 9 years serving in the British Army. Retiring in 2014 my last posting was at the Defence Medical Rehab Centre managing the team for lower limb rehabilitation.
Also a qualified yoga and pilates instructor I’m passionate about helping people achieving their goals in particular women and runners. With a can do attitude, I take a holistic approach to injury from assessment to treatment, rehabilitation and beyond.
Specialist interest:
Runners, female athletes.
Bridging a gap between a women’s health physio and musculoskeletal physio I love working with women on their pre and post natal journey empowering women to exercise safely and confidently.
When not at the clinic…
I can be found running after her two young boys and a dog. A runner turned cyclist, I’m also never far from my two wheels or trainers. Over the years I have completed everything from Park run to London marathons, Ride London and UCI World Champs Sportives. I have developed a liking for Alpine Cols and daydream of one day completing the Haute Route.

What would you cook if I came round for dinner?
It would be plant based, either a curry or middle Eastern

Probably a big road trip in America

Working background:
Predominantly private and NHS musculoskeletal and orthopaedics in South Africa and England. I’ve also worked with rugby teams, cycle races and at Iron Man events.
Areas of interest:
Cricket and rugby injuries (mixture of past experience and previous studies!)

Taxiing kids and walking a pleasantly crazy dog

Sports Massage Therapist

Working background:
I have experience with elite athletes in diving and swimming and I have recently been involved with the Rugby League World Cup treating the Greek team and the Welsh Wheelchair team.
When not at the clinic….
I’m most often in the diving pool, training and competing representing Ireland on the international circuit.
I am also studying at Sheffield Hallam University on the MSc Physiotherapy Pre-registration course.

Winning Irelands first ever international diving medal.
I worked on one of the world’s largest cruise ships doing Aqua Shows.
